The Summer Countdown!

Does anyone else feel like summer is suddenly right around the corner…

As we have entered the month of April, the countdown to May the 1st (aka the opening of the Ledbury stand) is truly on… make sure you mark your calendars! We have been busy here at Berries Unlocked; recruiting local stars for our summer stand team, ensuring the fruit is the finest quality ready to serve this summer, and stocking our machines 24/7 for you to enjoy.

Also, for those of you who haven't noticed, we now have our delicious, freshly picked strawberries from the farm available in the machines. Nothing quite says summer is on its way like a fresh British strawberry! We would love to hear your favorite way to enjoy our strawberries - whether that's on their own, in a fruit salad, dipped in cream or as a topping to a delicious Victoria Sponge!

Not only have we been busy in this country, but Ariana has also been traveling around Central America. Starting in Mexico and making her way down through Belize, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Colombia, she has had quite the time tasting all of the local fruits and collecting a few ideas for our own stands this summer! She has been super impressed by the level of hustle that the locals put into their sales - sometimes chasing trucks down the street, constantly haggling for the best price and convincing you of the fruit’s freshness with some helpful tasters! Although we may not be able to have local mangoes in our machines, that doesn’t stop us expecting our stand team to pull out all the stops in their sales techniques this year… the Central American way! We can’t wait :)
